Seeking to live in the silence under music, Kati Gleiser is a renaissance artist who's soulful creativity permeates all she does. An internationally recognized concert pianist, Kati has performed throughout North America coast-to-coast and as far as Shanghai, China, in venues ranging from barns and cafes to elite concert stages including the Kennedy Center. Kati has appeared numerous times on NPR, including a weeklong segment on Performance Today. Her multi-faceted nature redefines what a 21st c pianist is, from commissioning and performing cutting-edge electronic and piano music, to composing and improvising with String Orchestra, to channeling songs in love and grief of human's separation from Mother Earth.

Since 2013 to present Kati is Assistant Director to the Rosalyn Tureck International Bach Competition in NYC, and from 2018 - 2022 Kati served as co-Artistic Director of Symphony in the Barn, a critically acclaimed outdoor classical summer music festival hosted at one of Canada’s leading biodynamic organic farms, Glencolton, in Durham, Ontario.

Having taught piano for 30 years, Kati now maintains a small studio of piano, theory, composition, improvisation, and opera in her native Grey-Bruce. She teaches Teachers, and guides the next generation of artists to successful auditions to Indiana University, Taylor Academy of the Royal Conservatory of Music, University of Western Ontario, and Humber College. One of her previous students, Lingfei (Stephan) Xei is a National Prizewinner, representing Canada as semi-finalist at the prestigious 2021 Chopin International Competition in Warsaw, Poland.

Kati holds a Doctorate of Music in Piano Performance from Indiana University under the mentorship of internationally celebrated pianist and pedagogue Menahem Pressler, founder of the legendary Beaux Arts Trio.
