Cockburn-Hub-photoThe Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival has welcomed musical luminaries to Kelso Beach Park in Owen Sound every summer for 40 years. The tradition will continue in 2016 and Summerfolk is excited to announce that Juno award winner and Officer of the Order of Canada Bruce Cockburn will headline the 41st Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival, August 19-21, 2016.

"Bruce Cockburn is one of a handful of writers and performers that are synonymous with Canada and we're excited to have him kick off our fourth decade," says Summerfolk Artistic Director James Keelaghan. Bruce will perform on the main amphitheatre stage on Saturday night as well as in a daytime workshop.

Bruce has released 31 albums and inspired generations of music lovers. It has been 13 years since he was last at Summerfolk. Weekend passes for Summerfolk41 are available at holiday prices until December 31st at www.summerfolk.org./tickets.
