This type of music works well with violins, fiddles and other melody instruments. Some familiarity with basic scales is recommended. This will be of interest to anyone who wants to play some traditional celtic dance and other melodies in a group setting, with an introduction to some of the techniques trad musicians use to lift and embellish the music.
