art mapThe Art Map's Open Studio Weekend will happen from Friday, September 29th to Sunday, October 1st from 10-5pm each day.
This will be The Art Map's 7th Annual Open Studio Weekend with 34 studios participating — the largest number of studios to date! The Art Map is a digest sized publication featuring art studios and galleries in Bruce, Grey, Simcoe and Manitoulin Island. This is the 13th year of publication. Flip The Art Map over and you'll find The Food Map with cafés and specialty food stores, great places to recharge along the way.

This is your chance to visit many studios and galleries without making an appointment. Visit your favourite artists across Bruce, Grey and Simcoe. Meet the artists, see their latest and best work and gain some insight into how they create it. Enjoy the beautiful rural scenery between studio locations. This fall promises to be spectacular as the trees should be in full colour at this time. It's a great opportunity to explore new areas of Ontario.

You'll see artists who work with a variety of mediums such as paint, wood, clay, photography, glass, sculpture and more. The artists and galleries are located in Tobermory, Lion's Head, Walkerton, Ripley, Kincardine, Paisley, Tara, Owen Sound, Holstein, Elmwood, Hanover, Clarksburg, Kimberley, Eugenia, Thornbury, Singhampton, Stayner, Collingwood, Tiny, Midland, Barrie and Wasaga Beach. You also may find The Art Map Bruce Grey and Simcoe Landscape Calendars. They make great souvenirs of your travels throughout this beautiful area.

You're sure to see something you love during the weekend.

On top of that, you can win great prizes. Just pick up a passport at any participating location, get it punched or stamped at the locations you visit. When you're done, mail it to us and we'll pick the winners. You can enter once you have visited a minimum of 3 locations and had those marked on your passport. First prize goes to the person with the most locations visited.
