Whether your family arrived in Grey Bruce 100 years ago or 100 days ago or has been on this land forever, we all have a story. Some of us share with words, others use images to reveal insights and experiences.

Active Lifestyles Centre Grey Bruce, in partnership with Owen Sound Multicultural Arts & Crafts Collective, received funding from the Government of Ontario to organize "Celebrating Multiculturalism through Arts", free events in June in Owen Sound.

On Saturday June 9th we celebrate our diversity and share our stories through art and word from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Active Lifestyles Centre 1852 3rd Avenue East, Owen Sound.

Doors open at 11:00 am. Mayor Boddy of Owen Sound and Chief Anoquot of Saugeen First Nation will kick off "Celebrating Multiculturalism through Arts" Art Exhibit Reception and Story Share at 11:30 AM followed by short stories shared by people who have come to Owen Sound from other countries. From 12:00 on enjoy viewing the artwork, light refreshments and conversation, and be sure to have your photo taken with a quick questionnaire about your own heritage to join the Diversity is Strength in the Sound Photo Share!
