We invite you to see the Artists in Action! Street Art Event in Paisley ~ the Artistic River Village!

The Spruce the Bruce Program with the County of Bruce, The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie and the Paisley Chamber of Commerce Volunteer Committees are welcoming three internationally known urban street muralists to our rural community next weekend to Spruce It Up! They will be creating art on the walls and streets of our Community Centre, LCBO/OPP Station & Library along with other Queen St. business buildings and peripherals (benches, sidewalks, posts etc) during an impromptu street art festival "Art in Action" event, beginning on August 25, 2018, and continuing over the following week.

Visit our Headquarters on Saturday morning (Aug. 25) at the Community Centre to find out about more impromptu art in action.

Do you want to be apart of this amazing Event? Here's how you can help:

Volunteer:

~We will need help setting and cleaning up scaffolding, paints and barricades
~Runners to help transport paint, food etc
~Local Community Artisans to create Community Art Installations
~Prep of the art spaces (removing cobwebs etc)

Donate

Although we have some financial support from Spruce the Bruce, Arran Elderslie Municipality & Chamber of Commerce there are still Sponsorships needed!

~Left over or Brand new cans of Latex Exterior paint
~Painting supplies Rollers, Brushes, Drop Clothes, Buckets etc
~Scrap wood (plywood, barn board - cut to 5x5" squares)
~Funds to help with purchasing Paint and Supplies
To donate by Cash or Cheque please drop off funds to Dale Buhr (Paisley Home Hardware) made out to the Paisley Chamber of Commerce
