The Subjugation Of Truth

- by Anne Finlay-Stewart, Editor

The Owen Sound Hub is organizing a bus trip to visit Kent Monkman's Shame and Prejudice: a Story of Resilience at Museum London on Tuesday, June 18th, with a tour by Executive Director and Chief Curator, Brian Meehan.

I went to see the exhibit at the McCord Museum in Montreal when I learned it was not coming to the Tom Thomson Gallery as originally scheduled, and I am looking forward to seeing this powerful, provocative, collection of works again.

Local artist David Robinson wrote about his experience with the exhibit for the OwenSoundHub.

The bus transportation will be offered at cost – which will be as low as $36 if we can fill all 29 seats.
Entrance to the museum is by donation, and you can bring your own lunch or eat at the Museum's cafe or restaurant.
The bus will leave at 8:30 a.m. and we will be back in Owen Sound by 6 p.m.

To reserve a seat, email [email protected]
