The Home of the Alexandra Eagles is very proud to announce that two of our grade 8 students have had their works of art selected for the Owen Sound Banner Project.

Of the many artists from our school who submitted pieces, Mya Huckle and Madalynn Kingrey were chosen. Mya’s piece is entitled ‘Emerald Scrutiny’ and Madalynn’s is entitled ‘Happy’. These beautiful pieces and other fantastic works of art and photos will be displayed on vinyl banners around the harbor and the downtown core for a year.

We hope that Owen Sound residents and visitors enjoy this celebration of the arts and appreciate the hard work and talents of our students and the many other artists represented.
