Routes-Dec-2015

The City will be commencing a trial run of revised Core and Brooke Transit routes on Wednesday December 9, 2015 in an effort to streamline and improve customer service.

The City will be running a trial of reconfigured Core and Brooke bus routes which will shorten the Brooke route. This route routinely runs a few minutes past the required 30-minute route time, which accumulates over the course of a day affecting other bus routes.

This modified Core bus route will service the apartments on the south side of 14th Street West, allowing the Brooke bus to complete its route on time. The main difference for our riders will be that if they are going to the apartments on 14th Street West they will need to get on the Core bus at the Terminal. The only stop being taken out of service for the trial run is the one on 13th Street West between 2nd and 4th Avenue West.

Full maps of the current and revised routes are here.

As there is no simulation that can compare to actually operating the new routes for a couple of weeks, the City has implemented this pilot period. If the trial run is successful the new routes will remain in effect.

We appreciate your patience as we strive to offer the most effective and efficient service.
