ospl fullThe Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library will remain closed until Thursday, February 21st to complete the flooring work on the main level. The Library has been closed for the past four days over the Family Day weekend for the installation of flooring. However, as with many construction projects, unexpected challenges have made it necessary to take two extra days to complete the work.

The Library is excited about ongoing renovation work to the main level aimed at providing patrons with a more welcoming space. Work began the last week of January with the relocation of main level collections to the lower level Auditorium, allowing for service to be continued during the renovation phases. New flooring has been installed over the Family Day weekend, but the brief closure will need to continue until Thursday, February 21st at 9:30 am.

Patrons will be able to return items to the outside book drop and can access some Library services online by visiting www.owensound.library.on.ca. Ebooks, eaudiobooks, music, movies and magazines can all be downloaded using hoopla, Overdrive and RBDigital, available through the Library’s website.

The Library will reopen to the public on Thursday, February 21st at 9:30 am.

We aim to have services returned to the main level and work completed by early March.
