The City of Owen Sound has partnered with Outdoors Adventures, a volunteer organization comprised of local anglers and hunters to refurbish and repair the docks at the Bayshore Community Boat Launch.

Over the next two weeks, Outdoors Adventures will be removing deteriorated sections of the docks and repairing them. Support for the project is provided through the City’s Capital Budget program approved by Council and the Tom Williams Fund.

The purpose of the project is to extend the useful life of the facility, allowing the City to continue to provide residents and tourists a safe inviting option to access to the harbour and Georgian Bay.

Boat Launch passes that are valid at the West Boat launch and the Bayshore Community Boat Launch are available at the East boat Launch annually beginning April 1st to October 31st.
