ballot boxKarina Gould

I understand that you are the minister responsible for Elections Canada.

I have become aware in the last day of the warning issued by Elections Canada to environmental groups that speaking out against climate change will be considered partisan in the lead up to the upcoming election. I do not understand this position at all as there is solid scientific evidence of global climate change that has nothing to do with party politics.

With that in mind I would like to apply for the position of Head of Elections Canada. I was a scrutineer once for a provincial election about 25 years ago, which may seem like very little by way of qualifications, but unlike the current head of Elections Canada I live in the real world, and would like to preserve that world for my children.
