Every year on Remembrance Day the students of Riverforest Montessori School in Owen Sound go to the cenotaph to attend the service and pay their respects. This year, we are all respecting the request to watch the service virtually, for everyone's health and safety.

Junior Elementary and art teacher Arlana David thought of a visual way her students could let the veterans know they were not forgotten.

Her class of 6 to 9 year olds, and Jennifer Rhode's senior class of 9 to 12 year olds, painted poppies on rocks and took them to the cenotaph today in tribute, placing them carefully around the reflecting pool.

The Remembrance Day Service will begin Wednesday, November 11 at 11:00 a.m.
