Last week, Fred Wallace announced his retirement from local radio station CFOS 560.

In June 2012, once again with community in mind, Fred appeared in The Owen Sound Little Theatre Production of Neil Simon’s classic comedy The Odd Couple. Playing opposite comedic veteran Bill Murphy as the fastidious Felix, Fred proved to have an almost  photographic memory which was a definite asset in mastering the heavy line load of the irascible and slovenly sportswriter  Oscar Madison. Not to mention

no projection issues ….With an all round very strong supporting cast and crew, the show sold out very quickly with waiting lists for every night of the second week.

To say a “ good time was had by all “ would be an understatement. Even without including the generous sponsorships, huge 50/50 and bar sales,  the profits were HUGE for a low budgeted show. The included graphic design by Shelly Jackson, was given out on a thank you note to every member who participated along with our sponsors.

All the best Fred and thank you on behalf of OSLT and the entire community for your Time, Talent and Treasure !
