The Great Annual Library Book Sale opens at 5:00 pm Tuesday, October 27 and runs through Sunday, November 1.
The 37th annual book sale will be held in the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library auditorium from Tuesday, October 27th at 5:00 pm through Sunday, November 1st during the Library's regular hours.
Thousands of nearly new and gently used hardcover books, paperbacks, DVDs, Blu-Rays, puzzles and board games will be available. Eager shoppers will want to visit more than once to search for new and hidden treasures as the tables will be constantly re-stocked with more items. Cash, cheque, debit, Visa or MasterCard are accepted.
Again this year, the Library will host a Preview Salefor Library members the evening before the book sale opens to the general public. From 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm on October 26th ticket holders will have the chance to be the first to browse and purchase from this amazing collection of items for sale. Tickets are available from the Library for $15 each, in advance. One ticket per library card presented.
The 2015 book sale will wrap up on Sunday, November 1st from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm with the $2 Bucks-a-Bag sale. For only a toonie, fill a standard grocery bag full of books and other great items!
The Great Annual Book Sale is a major fundraising event for the Library made possible by the generosity of the people who donate items for the sale, the volunteers who donate their time, and everyone who makes a purchase.
