This past Tuesday (April 19th) brought us Métissage: from Newash to Mudtown, Set 2,Ring That Bell. Larry  Jensen (musician and poet), Mary Little (visual artist), Susan Schank (historian & aboriginal hand-drummer), Richard-Yves Sitoski (poet), Rob Rolfe (poet, labour leader) completed the presentation they introduced on April 5th Métissage: from Newash to Mudtown, Set 1, Corkscrew City. The audience found Set 2 as compelling as Set 1. We'll hear more about this wonderful, original production.

On April 12th, Lenore Keeshig, noted Indigenous poet, explored the experience of being a stranger in one's own land; coming up this Tuesday (April 26th), a newly arrived Syrian family – Haidar and Fadia along with their four children will share their experience of being strangers in a new country and our community of Owen Sound.

The series runs for six successive Tuesday evenings (7 to 9 pm) from April 5th to May 10th at St. George's Anglican Church Hall, 1049 4th Avenue East. For a complete description of the series, go to www.stgeorgesos.com or the Owen Sound Hub Facebook page.
