grey county mapThe Grey County Official Map is here just in time for summer adventures and Canada's 150th birthday celebrations. The 2017-2018 edition of the popular guide will be arriving on residents' doorsteps with the weekly flyers later this week.

"Whether you're entertaining out-of-town guests or taking a 'staycation,' the Grey County Official Map is the best recreation resource in the area," said Grey County Warden Alan Barfoot. "Not only is the map a beautiful wayfinding tool, its packed full of activities for you and your family. There are hundreds of ways to eat, play and stay in Grey."

People living outside of Grey County, or anyone who doesn't get the flyers, can pick up a copy of the map at a local municipal office, library, tourism information centre and at many tourism destinations across the county.

The map is a useful guide for reaching the County's most well-known destinations and discovering hidden gems. The front map highlights the County's natural features, attractions and roadways. The back of the map takes a closer look at area towns and villages and is complimented with details about local attractions, like culinary experiences and outdoor recreation.

The map is designed to be a preferred tool for visitors and residents alike.

"We know municipal borders aren't important to our visitors. When we designed our map we wanted to make sure it was as easy and convenient as possible for our visitors to understand where Grey County is in reference to neighbouring counties and destinations," said Bryan Plumstead, Grey County Manager of Tourism.
