fire reliefBruce Power employees once again showed their compassion for fellow Canadians today by donating $10,000 to the Red Cross for fire relief in B.C.

"Much like our employees did last year during the devastating wildfires in Alberta, our employees have banded together to ensure the thousands of displaced British Columbians can access the necessary supplies for their families," said James Scongack, Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Environment. "We encourage the community to donate through the Bruce Power portal on the Red Cross' website at www.redcross.ca/BCFires/BrucePower."

Donations will provide immediate relief such as cots, blankets, family reunification as well as financial assistance so individuals and families can get the food, clothing, shelter, and anything else that can help them recover from this tragedy, the Red Cross website states.
