A record number of people took a bus tour of the Bruce Power site this past summer.

Over 4,400 people took advantage of the Bruce Power Summer Bus Tour Program, which ran in July and August, while another 720 learned more about nuclear power through the live theatre performance.

"Our Summer Bus Tour Program was another rousing success," said Chris Mercanti, Section Manager, Community & Indigenous Relations. "By offering two bus tours a day, seven days a week, we opened our doors to people from  around the province, country and world, and showed them what a first-class site we have."

The Summer Bus Tour Program has continued to increase in popularity year-over-year since it began in 2014.

The Bruce Power Visitors' Centre has resumed its regular hours of Monday to Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Groups are always welcome, and bus tours can be arranged if they meet certain specifications. Call the Visitors' Centre at 519-361-7777, email [email protected] or visit www.brucepower.com/about-us/visit-us.
