Have you been sorting out the winter wear and discovering which coats and boots don't fit? Safe 'n Sound accepts donations throughout the year and certainly warm clothes for the winter. Folks can drop off donations at The Space at 3108 th Street East Monday to Friday between 10 and 4.
Their annual Winter Coat Giveaway is happening on Saturday, November 18 at The Space from 1 until 3. Coats, mitts, scarves and hats are available for children, women and men of all sizes. They will make sure to have coffee, tea, hot chocolate and home baked desserts available. As always, everything they do at Safe n' Sound is free!
The Space also needs ongoing donations of small kitchen appliances to help clients set up a home. The Space cannot store larger appliances, but they are looking for a stand up freezer and large fridge in excellent working order for use in their own kitchen.
Safe n' Sound's Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for the following week, November 25th from 10 until 12 noon. Membership and guests are most welcome to attend. The AGM will take place at The Space at 310 8th Street East in Owen Sound.
