Pure curiosity – that's what took us on a bus tour of the world's largest operating nuclear site last year.

Starting this Sunday, the Visitors' Centre is once again offering free bus tours of the 2,300 acre Bruce Power site throughout July and August.

It starts at the Visitors' Centre, where we checked our knowledge of nuclear power at the hands-on exhibits and sawbustour an introductory film, and looked out over the 2300 acre wooded site towards Lake Huron.

Then on to the bus, where a knowledgeable young tour guide answered our questions and some we would not have even thought to ask.
It is recommended you pre-register by clicking here to ensure available seats on the tour bus.
Government-issued photo identification is required and will be checked by Security Officers before boarding.
Tours will run seven days a week from Sunday, July 1, to Friday, Aug. 31, at 11 a.m., and 1 and 2 p.m. The Visitors' Centre is closed statutory holidays, so there will be no tours available on Monday, July 2, or Monday, Aug. 6.
You can also call 519-361-7777  to register for a bus tour by telephone.
Bruce Power is also expanding its pre-arranged bus tour program to be year-round. If your service club, social organization or municipal group would like to visit Bruce Power, email [email protected] or call 519-361-7777.
