They wouldn't be the first family to face this situation.

This family is trying to empty out their parents' home on Owen Sound's east hill- a house full of years and years of acquiring and hi ficollecting - one Saturday indoor garage sale at a time.

Indoor yard sale at 757 9th St. 'A' East Sat. Nov. 3 from 9-4

Hundreds of salt and pepper shakers and stacks of LPs up to my knees caught my attention, but they are only the beginning. Solid maple dining room furniture is covered in jewellery, dozens of unopened Avon products, and decorations for every occasion. A vintage turntable-8 track hi-fi, socket wrenches, dishes...and that's just what I could see.

Bad weekend weather, full-time work and poor health have kept the family from getting everything out on display. The kitchen cupboards are full, as are three upstairs bedrooms and a basement and shed full of tools. As soon as they make space, they bring out more. Apparently lots has gone, but you would never know it.

If you are looking for anything, or have a need for a lot of something, you can reach this family at [email protected]. We'll let you know when we see the garage sale signs again.
