under the canopyStarting Saturday, June 8, step under the canopy and explore the fascinating world of the rainforest with a new travelling exhibit at Grey Roots: Under the Canopy: Animals of the Rainforest!

This traveling exhibit from Little Ray’s Nature Centres features many real animals that call the rainforest home. Get introduced to a red-footed tortoise, visit with a marmoset, and marvel at the bright colours of a panther chameleon. Visitors can get up close with creatures during daily shows and educational programs or book a private animal adventure through a party package.

“We’re excited to have this fun, hands-on exhibit at Grey Roots,” says Claudette Martin, Exhibits & Education Manager. “It’s a great opportunity for children and families to learn about the rainforest and about our local ecosystem.”

Under the Canopy: Animals of the Rainforest introduces visitors to the world of rainforests, including important conservation and environmental issues locally and across the world. Your wild adventure begins under the canopy!

Under the Canopy: Animals of the Rainforest is open through September 9, 2019.

Regular admission rates apply. Free for Grey Roots members.
