The Community Waterfront Heritage Centre (CWHC) welcomes visitors to the family friendly Christmas Café on Saturday November 16, 2019, from 9 AM until 4 PM at 1155, 1st Ave West, Owen Sound.
The 1932 CN station will be decked out for the holidays with model train layouts and museum displays. Seasonal treats, (hot drinks & Christmas cookies), will be served by CWHC volunteers.
The Georgian Bay Garden Club will be onsite selling seasonal urn inserts. These stunning original designs by members of the Georgian Bay Garden Club are natural live greens and materials. This is a major fundraiser for the club, and the public is encouraged to support this initiative, so that they may continue with their many garden beautification projects around the city.
The Fibre Fanatics will also be onsite selling all things fibre! Handspun, handknit, crochet, woven, beaded, and needle felted items, such as; Christmas ornaments, clothing, jewelry, doll clothes, and unique handcrafted items perfect for holiday gift giving. The Fibre Fanatics are members of the Pottawatomi Spinners & Weavers.
