On March 1, 2017 at 12:44 p.m., a Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a white 2014 Ram Pick-up truck for driving more than 50 kilometers over the posted speed limit, on 6 and 10 Highway, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

Police seized and impounded the vehicle for seven days.

A 23-year-old driver from Markdale, ON, has been charged with race a motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear at the Owen Sound Court of Justice on March 20, 2017 to answer to the charges.
