Inglis FallsOn Saturday, April 15 at approximately 8:37 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a female injured as a result of falling at Inglis Falls located in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

The victim had attended the East embankment of the Falls with three companions to watch the sunset when she lost her footing and fell approximately 25 feet to the rocks below.

The victim, a 20-year old woman from the Township of Chatsworth, was rescued by the Inter-Township Fire Department and was air-lifted to a London Hospital with serious injuries.

She was discharged from hospital on April 16, 2017.
