dog biteThe Grey Bruce Health Unit is seeking assistance from the public in finding a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred in Flesherton.

On July 4, 2017, at approximately 12:30 pm, two women were walking by a dog outside Highland Grounds in Flesherton when it lunged and bit one of them. The dog is described as a five year old, female black lab and was in the company of its male owner.

Staff of the Grey Bruce Health Unit need to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies. By verifying the health of the dog, the victim can avoid receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
