On August 29, 2017 Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter to a commercial business known as Holstein Rabbit Farm located on Grey Road 109 in the Township of Southgate. Approximately six rabbits were stolen at the time.

On September 3, 2017, as a result of the ongoing investigation, police have arrested and charged a 25-year old man from Mount Forest, Ontario with Break and Enter and Disguise with Intent. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 21, 2017 in Owen Sound.

Police have also charged a 27-year old woman from Lincoln, Ontario and a 42-year old man from York, Ontario with Enter Premises When Entry Prohibited under the Trespass to Property Act (TPA).

The investigation continues and Charges are pending against other individuals.

Grey County OPP is issuing a warning to members of the public - anyone found trespassing will be charged and prosecuted.

Anyone with information which may assist in the investigation is asked to call Grey County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
