OS-Police-cuffsDrug arrest in the downtown core.

On Tuesday, October 10, 2017 the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Unit were conducting a focused investigation into drug trafficking activities in the City's downtown core.

At 3:25pm Officers identified and arrested a 39 year old Collingwood man in the 900 block of 3rd Avenue East. The man was found to be violating his court ordered bail conditions and was also known to be wanted by the Town of Blue Mountains OPP.

Upon arrest the man was found to be in possession of a quantity of Heroin and Methamphetamine along with cash proceeds and other drug trafficking paraphernalia. The combined value of the seized Drugs and cash proceeds is over $3500.

The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing on October 11, 2017 in Owen Sound.
