Ontario Provincial Police LogoProperty damage to a car wash in Dundalk.

On October 26, 2017 at approximately 9:26 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of vandalism at the Highpoint Car Wash located on Hanbury Street, Dundalk, in the Township of Southgate.

Around 4:00 a.m. on October 26th, a male suspect is observed, via surveillance video, fastening a chain from the coin vending machine to a dark coloured Dodge Ram pick-up truck which was used to pull the door off the vending machine. Several other vending machines were damaged in an effort to steal coins.

The damage to the coin vending machines, as well as the building itself, is estimated to be in the thousands.

Description of suspect one: male, wearing a red Under Armour hoody; brown pants and brown gloves.

Description of suspect two: gender unknown, short, wearing dark clothing/hoodie.

Both suspects were wearing black masks.

Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information which may assist to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
