oppb-graphic-fullThe driver of the car was arrested and charged after a fatal collision in October with a motorcyclist.

On October 3, 2017 at 7:55 p.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a serious motor vehicle collision between a motorcycle and a Pontiac G6 on Highway 6 between Barrow Bay Road and Cemetery Road in Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula.

The motorcycle rider, 38-year-old Edward (Chad) Honneyman of Wiarton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

On December 5, 2017 Bruce Peninsula OPP arrested and charged the driver of the Pontiac, 30 year old male, Justin Lozon of Northern Bruce Peninsula. He has been charged with the following:

Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle Causing Death, Criminal Code of Canada (CC) 249(4)
Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) 4(1)

On December 6, 2017 the accused attended Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound for a bail hearing.
