OS-Policesept-fullIn the afternoon hours of Monday December 11, 2017, the Owen Sound Police Service Drugs and Intelligence Unit concluded a drug trafficking investigation with the arrest of a male and female outside of an eastside hotel in Owen Sound.

Police seized Cocaine, Methamphetamine and Heroin as well as cash proceeds from the sale of these narcotics. The estimated total street value of the seized drugs exceeds $12,000.

A 32 year old Owen Sound man faces 7 charges including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of oxycodone, possession of marihuana, failing to comply with recognizance of bail and failing to comply with probation.

A 47 year old Stratford woman faces 6 charges including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of oxycodone, possession of marihuana, and possession of proceeds of crime.

Both accused persons were held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for December 12, 2017.
