In a memo to staff dated May 25, 2018, the owner of Bayshore Broadcasting Corporation said the following:

"Doug Caldwell is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Grossman as Managing Director of Bayshore Broadcasting Corporation, and who will be responsible for the overall operation of Bayshore.
Christopher will also be a shareholder and investor in Bayshore.
Please join me in welcoming Christopher to the Bayshore family.
The appointment is effective immediately."

Christopher Grossman was formerly the president and CEO of Haliburton Broadcasting Group with 24 Ontario stations, many under the familiar MooseFM brand. He sold Haliburton to Vista Radio in 2012 as the western company moved into the Ontario market, and Vista in turn was acquired by Westerkirk Capital the same year.

The Bayshore Corporation includes AM station CFOS and Mix 106 and Country 93 FM in Owen Sound and soon to be five other FM stations in Ontario. It was founded by Sun Times owner Howard Fleming in 1940.

Bayshore's General Manager Ross Kentner, who was given his job by Doug Caldwell when he bought the corporation in 1985, retired at the end of April this year.
