volunteerGrey County is looking for dedicated volunteers for three advisory committees for the 2019-2022 term of council. Each committee meets approximately four times per year and mileage or travel expenses are compensated.

Joint Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC)

The AAC advises Grey County Council and participating local municipalities about provincial accessibility laws and ways to identify, prevent and remove barriers from municipal services, processes and spaces. Tourism Advisory Committee

The Tourism Advisory Committee makes recommendations to Grey County Council about ways to improve local tourism for businesses and visitors. Economic Development and Planning Advisory Committee

The Economic Development Advisory Committee advises council about expanding the prosperity base in Grey County and helps to implement the “Made in Grey” Economic Development Strategy.
