REACH Centre Grey Bruce is excited to announce the appointment of Jennifer Miller as the new Executive Director of our charitable organization.

Jennifer brings over 20 years’ experience in management consulting to our team specializing in operational efficiency and effectiveness. “Jennifer has done incredible things for the community and is no stranger to advocacy. We are thrilled to have her as part of our team and look forward to her continuing our efforts to provide individualized social learning opportunities for young adults with developmental disabilities” stated Board Chair, Mimi Williams.

“Over the past several years my practice has worked with many local agencies in the not‐for‐profit sector” said Jennifer Miller. “I am excited about this new opportunity and feel it’s an expansion of my existing role as Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters Owen Sound which I will continue to do. The REACH Centre provides much needed programming for an amazing group of exceptional young adults. There are definite synergies between both positions in engaging our wonderful community”.

The REACH Centre is a charitable organization and is currently housed at Georgian Shores United Church in Owen Sound. The organization was created in an attempt to fill a distinct gap in meaningful opportunities for young adults that faced developmental, physical and communication challenges. Their mission is to provide individualized engaging adult-based social and educational learning opportunities, which support participants achieving their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment. The REACH Centre is a place where these exceptional young adults can experience true community and friendship. Programs are delivered Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

In our community, people can show their support by becoming a volunteer, participate in our document shredding program for local businesses, support our fundraising events or join our Board of Directors.
