educationThe Ministry of Education is seeking input on education funding for the next school year "as a starting point for education funding reform." The invitation letter indicates that this consultation is in line with the government’s goal of seeking “greater accountability and value for money as part of its line-by-line review of government expenditures.”

The Ministry has identified four areas of focus for this consultation:

- Efficient price setting
- Outcomes-based funding
- Accountability and value-for-money
- Other education funding efficiencies

The Engagement Guide for the consultation includes questions to be considered in each area. Responses should be sent to [email protected] by Friday, December 14.
