healthunit fullThe Grey Bruce Health Unit is seeking assistance from the public in finding the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred in Lion’s Head on the morning of Saturday, April 27, 2019. The incident occurred at the end of Cemetery Road, on the Lion’s Head Trail loop. The dog is of unknown breed and described as medium to large, black in colour with white markings on its head. The dog was unattended at the time of this incident.

Staff of the Grey Bruce Health Unit need to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies. By verifying the health of the dog, the victim can avoid receiving post-exposure rabies treatment.
