On Thursday, May 30, Grey County paramedics are hosting the ‘Paramedic Appreciation Luncheon’ at the Grey County Administration Building in Owen Sound. Media members are invited to this private event which reunites cardiac arrest survivors and families with the paramedics who saved them. This meeting between survivors and paramedics is a rare chance to say thank you, as most survivors do not cross paths with their first responders after being admitted to the hospital. New this year is a staff recognition ceremony to celebrate accomplishments from the past year.
