Meaford Council has awarded $194,000 in bursaries over the next 4 years to community organizations in Meaford.

The Community Bursary program provides funding to community groups who offer programs, services and events in Meaford. Funds are awarded for the four-year Council term. The annual amount of funding available for the 2019-2022 term of Council is $50,000. Organizations may receive up to $5,000 per year.

On June 3 and 4, Meaford Council heard presentations from the 37 applicants to the bursary program, with the total annual funding requested at $108,550.00.

Following the presentations, Council awarded the following bursaries:
