remembrance day roadmap
Due to the detours in place for the 10th Street Bridge closure, there is a change to the closure for the Remembrance Day ceremony on Monday, November 11th. This year, 8th Street will re-open once the parade has gone through and will remain open during the Remembrance Day ceremony.  Observers may gather along the sidewalk on the north side of the 8th Street Bridge and on 1st Avenue West in the 800 block. 1st Avenue West – 800 block will be closed for the ceremony.

The Remembrance Day parade will proceed as it has in previous years, beginning just south of the Metro driveway along 2nd Avenue East to 8th Street East, travelling westerly along 8th Street to the Cenotaph at 1st Avenue West.  Police will be directing traffic at the 9th Street East/2nd Avenue East intersection and 8th Street/2nd Avenue East and 2nd Avenue West intersections.
