It is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of South Bruce Peninsula Firefighter Jamie Hill. Jamie and his son were involved in a motor vehicle accident yesterday near Brussels.

Jamie was a true community ambassador and leader having recently served as President of the Sauble Beach Chamber of Commerce. He was an entrepreneur who was the owner of the Sauble Dunes Bar & Grill, Hills Fine Homes, Beach Flix Videoand Coco Club Property Rentals.

Jamie was passionate about protecting our community as he proudly devoted eight years of service to our South Bruce Peninsula Firefighting team, working from Station 40 in Sauble Beach. His fellow Firefighters remember him as a quiet, easy-going, hardworking individual. On behalf of Council, staff and our entire community, our heartfelt condolences go to Jamie’s family and friends in this difficult time.
