Royal Canadian Legion - Canada 150 MedalBruce-Grey-Owen MP Larry Miller presented the Royal Canadian Legion's Canada 150 Medal to recipients who were nominated by their local Legion branches. The presentation took place at the Tara Legion Branch 383.

In 2016, the Federal Government announced that it would not move forward with initial plans from the previous Conservative government to issue commemorative medals to deserving Canadians in light of Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation. In response to this decision, the Royal Canadian Legion struck its own limited edition medal to commemorate Canada's 150th anniversary. Veterans, Legion members and members of the Ladies' Auxiliary are authorized to wear the medal.
