Off duty OPP officer charged with impaired driving.
Members of the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Road 9 and Purple Valley Road around 10:05 p.m. on April 20, 2018.
As a result of the investigation, the OPP has charged 53-year-old David Grady with Care and Control - Impaired and Care and Control - Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is a 20-year member of the OPP working at the Bruce Peninsula Detachment where he has been assigned to administrative duties. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on May 17, 2018 to answer to the charges.
