Owen Sound Police investigate single vehicle collision.
On Thursday at approximately 12:47pm the Owen Sound Police, Fire and Ambulance attended to a report of a single vehicle collision in the area of 9th Street west and 8th Avenue West.
The investigation revealed that a 62 year old Owen Sound female was driving a 2015 Kia Soul south bound on 8th Avenue West. The driver experienced a medical episode causing her to lose control of her vehicle. The driver proceeded to through an intersection and entered into a private driveway next to an apartment building. The vehicle came to rest after crashing into an unoccupied metal bench.
The driver was transported to hospital and is suspected to make a full recovery. The vehicle was towed from the scene and there were no other injuries as a result of the collision.
