The pedestrian struck by a motorcycle while attempting to cross Hwy. 6 & 10 on May 29, 2018 succumbed to his injuries, while in hospital, on June 13, 2018.

The deceased has been identified as 80-year old Walter MacDonald (Don) Hill of the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

The operator of the motorcycle, a 63-year old male from West Grey, sustained minor injuries. There are no charges pending.

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on May 29, 2018, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a pedestrian on Hwy. 6 & 10, south of Sunny Valley Road, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

The Inter-Township Fire Department and Grey County Paramedic Services (EMS) attended the scene to assist.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the pedestrian entered the roadway from the west side and was struck by a motorcycle travelling southbound on Hwy. 6 & 10.
