Ontario Provincial Police LogoPolice at scene of break and enter in Carrick Township. The incident continues and the road is still closed.

On June 26, 2018 at 10:44 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a break and enter at a residence in the 400 block of Concession 14 in Carrick Township.

The break in was discovered when the property owner returned to their home. Once they encountered the males inside, they left the house and called police.

Road closures have been established for the safety of emergency responders and the public. The closures will remain in effect until this incident is concluded.

Members of the West Region OPP Tactical Rescue Unit (TRU) and the OPP Unmanned Aerial Surveillance (UAS) unit are on scene to assist the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.

The investigation is in its early stages.
