pedestrian crossingCrime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Owen Sound Police Service are seeking the public's help in identifying the driver responsible for a fail to remain accident involving a pedestrian.

On July 31st at 10:15 a.m., an elderly woman was crossing the intersection of Second Avenue and 9th Street East in downtown Owen Sound when she was struck by the right front fender of a vehicle and knocked to the sidewalk. The victim suffered bruises and painful injuries as a result.

The offending vehicle was an older model gray-green pickup truck, operated by a male who yelled blame for the accident at the victim before continuing eastbound on 9th Street East.
