On Friday, August 17th 2018 at approximately 5 p.m. the Hanover Police Service started receiving third party complaints through social media about an Audi being illegally angle parked in marked handicap parking spaces at the Canadian Tire Parking Lot in the Town of Hanover.

As a result of an investigation by the Hanover By-Law Enforcement officer, a 49-year-old male has been charged under the Town of Hanover parking by-law for parking in a disabled space without a permit. The set fine for this infraction is $300.

The Hanover Police Service encourages anyone that witnesses such an infraction to contact authorities through their police dispatch or the By-law Officer at the Municipal office during business hours at the time of the infraction so that an investigation can commence immediately.
