Ontario Provincial Police LogoOn August 14, 2018 Grey County Ontario Provincial Police members along with Grey County OPP Crime Unit opened an investigation into allegations of sexual offences committed on young persons by an adult male.

On August 22, 2018 police arrested a 69-year-old male from Grey Highlands and charged him with 5 counts of Sexual Assault on a Person under 16 years of age, 4 counts of Sexual Interference, 6 counts of Indecent Exposure to a Person under 16 years of Age and 1 count of Sexual Exploitation.

The accused has a court date with Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound.

The investigation is on-going. It is unknown if any other persons were victimized by the accused. The accused was a foster parent who lived in the Caledon area before moving to Grey Highlands.
