OS Police cuffs

For the second time in as many days the Owen Sound Police arrested someone for making a false bomb threat.

Shortly after 11:00 pm Friday night a 25 year old Owen Sound male became upset when an 8th Street East Liquor establishment refused him entry. The male contacted the Owen Sound Police dispatch centre and stated there was a bomb in that particular business. Police evacuated the business and completed a search. There was no bomb located and the call was confirmed to be a hoax.

The male who made the call was identified, located and arrested. The male was charged with public mischief which he will answer to in a November court date.
